Venus is a planet very similar to Earth in size, density, and the force of gravity on the surface, and it has even been speculated as to whether it would be favorable to life. It is the third closest planet to the sun. It is rocky and its atmosphere is composed of different types of gases, and its average temperature is approximately 15ºC.
The Earth, as far as we know, is the only planet in the Solar System that has conditions that make possible the existence of living beings as we know them. It has a satellite, the moon.
